DigiExam Announces New Project with McDonough School of Business at Georgetown

NEW YORK, NY (January 31, 2017) DigiExam, the leading platform for creating and grading digital exams, continues its growth in US higher education and today announced a new project with the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University.

The McDonough School of Business reached out to DigiExam to provide a reliable and secure platform for digital test creation and grading.  

“We have been looking for a secure, easy-to-use digital assessment platform for years,” said John Carpenter, Chief Technology Officer at Georgetown McDonough. “So we’re very excited to get started with the tools and features DigiExam offers.”

Between undergraduate and graduate programs, Georgetown McDonough serves approximately 3,600 students with more than 140 professors and teaching staff.

Most recently, DigiExam has partnered with the Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania, the world’s first collegiate school of business.  Wharton School serves 4,993 students across their undergraduate, graduate and doctoral programs.  The partnership will open the opportunity for other departments and schools at University of Pennsylvania to pilot with DigiExam as well.

DigiExam wins international award at the world’s leading event for learning technology

Swedish company DigiExam, with its platform designed to help educators to create, deliver and mark assessments, has won the prestigious Bett award in the ‘Higher Education/Further Education digital services’ category. Coinciding with Bett, the world’s leading event for learning technology, the awards are considered the highest accolade in the industry.

The Bett Awards play a key role in identifying and rewarding excellence in education trade. The winning organisations were announced at the Bett Awards dinner in London on Wednesday 25 January.

The judges said, ‘DigiExam is an innovative product that helps teachers create a variety of exams and assessments. It makes collating marking and feedback easy and gives teachers a lot of control over the assessment process; a very useful tool for blended and online learning’.
