Head of Development, City of Västerås in Sweden
At the same pace as our education system is becoming more digitized, we see that the need for digital exams is rapidly increasing, especially for the Swedish national exams. Students today demand a modern education system, therefore we don’t feel the need to work in an analogue way any longer.
During our online meeting and demonstration we had with Carl Nardini, we could see that DigiExam would facilitate the process for our teachers. We were impressed by all the features and smart solutions in DigiExam.

It is important to look at the students needs and what works for them, to take their opinion into account. I would also try to find out exactly how a digital tool would make the process of examinations easier for the teachers, what are their major issues and how to solve these. Another advice would be to invest in good support and easy implementation, this is something we experienced with DigiExam. After the workshop they held, they did a follow-up which also made it easier for our teachers.
We have already come a long way with the implementation of technology, the next interesting area for us would be to develop a better way to measure and analyse education. We need good grounds that will give our teachers a better and critical understanding of how to improve education, planning and follow-up.
