Introducing Digiexam Lockdown
Today, we're thrilled to announce the launch of Digiexam Lockdown, a brand-new way for schools to run secure assessments directly inside Canvas by Instructure.
Tools that lock down the LMS have been on the market for years, but after spending months talking to US schools, we learned that a lot of them were unhappy with their setup. Those tools haven't lived up to the promise, and we think schools deserve a better solution. After more than a year of development, we're confident we've built it.
How it works
- Teachers pick which quiz or assignment they want to lock down.
- Students sign in to the Digiexam desktop app, and when they start the assessment, they're led straight to the Canvas assessment and their computer locks down.
- What about external resources such as links and PDFs? They just work. If they're in the assessment, they're automatically made available to students.
What's more: not only do we support Classic Quizzes and New Quizzes, but also assignments.
For now, Digiexam Lockdown runs on Windows and Mac computers.
