Release notes provide details on integration changes, known issues, fixes, workarounds, and deprecations for recent software releases.

When writing your report, please include the full version number in the description. This looks like "25.x.yy.” You can find the full version number in the top right of the application when starting the Digiexam app. Also include the operating system for your device to better help us when working with your report.

Digiexam Toolbox

- Legacy versions of the Digiexam Student App can now be uninstalled with Digiexam Toolbox
- Legacy versions of the Digiexam Student App can now be updated directly to latest new app version with Digiexam Toolbox

- A NEW Digiexam Toolbox is introduced to the Digiexam app family for streamlined installation and update checks of Digiexam Windows App
- Includes an installer function of the Digiexam Windows App
- Automatically detects the device architecture and installs corresponding version of Digiexam

- Fixed issue for some hand-in events where rollback of operations was not completed in full.
- A window displays upon hand-in that informs about rollback operations and instructions on what to do if this is unsuccessful.
- Improved network connectivity processes to handle unstable internet on student devices
- Added additional network logging capability
- Improved inter-process communications for a faster, more reliable and more efficient app
- Implemented automatic hand-in of assignments upon lid closure or sleep

- Fixed issue with log uploads and added more diagnostic information.
- Resolved issue where some Windows devices with unsigned processes caused an application crash.
- Fixed issue with where some Windows devices displayed an error after stopping lockdown and in transition to normal system operation.

- Resolved application termination error for some users launching DX via the deeplink button in the portal.
- Improved connectivity checks to address situations where test taker may have intermittent connectivity.

- Auto‑save every unsaved answer and retry multiple times if the network is or has been unstable during the assignment.
- Automatic USB fallback. If the device is offline the app switches to Save‑to‑USB mode.
- Improved hand-in status indicators. Hand‑in/Exit buttons turn grey and show a spinner while saving, so students know it’s working.
- Improved connection indicator. The connection indicator “dot” now shows Stable → Unstable → Lost based on real latency, communicating when Wi‑Fi is unstable in a clearer way.
